There will just be one member of the Stafford family at Ford Field on Sunday to hear any boos from the fans.
Kelly Stafford, wife of Rams quarterback and former Lion Matthew Stafford, will not attend the Lions-Rams season opening on Sunday night in Detroit, as announced on her podcast.
While she will be in town for a live episode of that podcast on Saturday, she does not intend to stay for the game the next day.
“After our amazing, amazing live show, I’m going to hop on a plane and head home so I can watch it with my daughters here,” Stafford informed us.
Kelly Stafford made headlines after the Lions-Rams playoff game at Ford Field in January, claiming that she and her four girls were booed by Lions supporters prior to the game.
