A second fan passes away following a gunshot at a Detroit Lions tailgate party.
The incident happened on Sunday at 4:30 p.m., just after Ford Field had filled up following the Lions’ defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Following an altercation at Shed 6 in the Eastern Market neighborhood, an unidentified man took out a revolver and fired at least two bullets, killing a man in his 40s from Detroit.
The Detroit Police Department has now verified that the second man, in his 20s, passed away on Monday morning from his injuries. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
Two guns were found at the site, according to police chief James White, and the gunman, a guy in his 30s, was apprehended by law enforcement.
