In Week 3, the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions play a pivotal game. With a victory today, Arizona, with a 1-1 record, might maintain their lead in the NFC West. Despite a recent injury, they will have one of Kyler Murray’s favorite weapons available to ensure the win. They will need all hands on deck.According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, wide receiver Greg Dortch of the Cardinals is anticipated to play against the Lions on Sunday. Dortch has been suffering with a hamstring strain and is rated as questionable. But it appears he will be well enough to play in a pivotal game against the Lions.

Dortch joined the Cardinals early on as a contributor. In Week 1 against the Bills, Kyler Murray seemed to have Dortch locked on, focusing on him ten times. Eight of those throws were caught by Dortch for 58 yards.

On Sunday, Dortch will become one of Murray’s main targets, along with Michael Wilson, Trey McBride, and Marvin Harrison Jr.The Cardinals are demonstrating their ability to be a formidable NFC team in 2024.

In Week 2, Arizona crushed the Los Angeles Rams 41-10 in a blowout defeat. After fully taking advantage of an injured Rams club, the Cardinals now have to contend with a mostly healthy Lions team that is ready to win.

More than their Week 2 loss to the Buccaneers, the Lions defeated themselves. This Detroit team, which advanced to the NFC Championship game the previous season, is not pleased with its 1-1 start. They are going to take out their trick bag and attempt everything to win in the desert.Arizona is going to attempt to turn this into a gunfight. When Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride face the inexperienced and youthful Lions secondary, the Cardinals must enjoy their matchups. There ought to be plenty of chances for Kyler Murray to burn the Lions in the dirt.

The Lions might attempt to dominate the line of scrimmage and run out the clock in the interim. Week 2 saw Jared Goff appear off after tossing 55 passes in a losing effort. In this game, it makes sense to anticipate that the Lions will focus on playing action passes and the ground game.

At Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, the game begins at 4:25 PM ET.
