Sadly, the long list of injuries sustained by the Detroit Lions during their game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday was not all-inclusive. One additional injury occurred, which might be the most serious of all. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that defensive end Marcus Davenport may be out for the remainder of the 2024 campaign due to an elbow ailment.

Rapoport tweeted on Monday, “#Lions pass-rusher Marcus Davenport appears to have suffered a serious and significant elbow injury in Sunday’s game, sources say.” “Davenport might be out for the season after trying to play again while wearing a sleeve. More testing is currently being done on him.
