Township of Bloomfield, Michigan — Following the team’s January playoff loss, Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell’s daughter’s student shared the family’s home address on social media, according to police files acquired by The Detroit News.

According to the newspaper, the event was one of several that involved strangers paying the Bloomfield Township house an unexpected visit before the family moved earlier this year to a different residence bought by a limited liability business.

This month, Campbell and his spouse Holly offered their 7,800-square-foot Bloomfield Township home for $4.5 million. “People simply discovered our residence when we were defeated,” Dan Campbell said to Crain’s Detroit Business.

“Dude, I got work to do,” Campbell said to the media on Friday. “Coaching this team and making sure they are ready each week is my main responsibility here. My task must be done, and that is my only priority.

An additional police presence at the residence was asked for.

According to the article, Campbell’s daughter was scared and eventually left the house as strangers started to show up late that night.

The address had been disclosed online, Lions security informed Bloomfield Township police.

According to an investigation, “people and vehicles did show up outside their residence but did not necessarily enter the property.”

The following day, an NFL security officer alerted the police to the classmate’s involvement on Snapchat. The private school’s security was then notified by the police. When the boy’s mother spoke with investigators, the report stated that she informed them that she was “aware of the situation and that Mrs. Campbell had already contacted her and left her a message about (the classmate’s) post.”

Investigators were later informed by the classmate that he had taken the address from a Snapchat post he had seen and posted his own narrative.

Additionally, the school’s security officer discovered that the boy and
