The Detroit Lions could end up playing an injury-depleted Dallas Cowboys squad in Week 6 at AT&T Stadium.
As reported by ESPN, “The Cowboys will be without WR Brandin Cooks for at least this week vs. Pittsburgh and potentially longer after an infection developed in his right knee following a procedure he had after remaining in NY following the win against the Giants, according to multiple sources.”
Due to their own injuries, Cowboys defenders Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence have provided Detroit is offense with a chance to maintain its momentum. Parsons is battling with an ankle problem, and Lawrence’s foot strain has forced him to be placed on injured reserve.
The Lions offense found a way to get hot and score 42 points against the Seahawks. It was their season-highest offensive production.
“I am happy with where we are at the moment because, in comparison to where we are, I would definitely prefer to be 4-0. Indeed. However, given where we are, I think we are starting to settle into a routine,” Dan Campbell remarked. “I do not think our defense is what we showed yesterday, and I think we are starting to rediscover our offensive rhythm.”And I know that we’re just going to continue to get better and better and better,” Campbell said. “We will and we have made progress in so many areas. However, I am satisfied with where we are at after four weeks—3-1—and the progress we have made thus far.
