Centre Frank Ragnow and safety Brian Branch have both resumed practice and are expected to rejoin the lineup when the Lions face the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday.

“Right now, they look good,” said Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell.

Branch sustained a concussion during the team’s Week 3 victory in Arizona and was also dealing with an illness that sidelined him for the Week 4 game against Seattle.

Ragnow injured his pectoral muscle in the Arizona game but played through it, sitting out the Seahawks match in hopes of returning for the Dallas game.

However, Campbell was less optimistic about linebacker Derek Barnes’ return. Barnes injured his knee in the Arizona game and has been placed on injured reserve.

“It’s hard to say,” Campbell said about Barnes’ chances of playing this season. “We’d be fortunate if he returns at all this year. I won’t say it’s impossible, but we’d be lucky if it happens.”
