Las Vegas Raiders star defensive lineman Maxx Crosby has stirred the NFL with his recent remarks.

His comments about the Raiders potentially undergoing a rebuild have sparked speculation about his openness to being traded.

Crosby has consistently voiced his commitment to staying with the Raiders long-term.

However, could a full rebuild change his stance?

The 27-year-old has made it clear he isn’t interested in rebuilding, as his primary focus is winning football games.

“I’m not here to rebuild, I’m here to win,” Crosby said, via ProFootballTalk. “So, you know, I don’t know. Whatever that means, but yeah I’m here to win now. And wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna be here to win. So that’s all that matters to me.”

Crosby’s statement, “Wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna be here to win,” has led to speculation about the meaning behind his words and body language.

Raiders ownership has consistently stated that Crosby is not available for trade.

“It’s unfortunate today, but there’s so much outside chatter that is not true,” owner Mark Davis recently said. “It’s not coming from any sources. It’s not coming from anything. My basic thing is never to answer all that stuff because otherwise you get trapped in this black hole.”

With the Raiders currently at 2-4, the Lions may see an opportunity to make a blockbuster trade offer around the deadline.

Reports indicate that the Lions have already shown interest in defensive lineman Haason Reddick, who has yet to play a snap for the New York Jets.

If the Raiders lose to the Rams, Chiefs, and Bengals before the deadline, trade speculation surrounding Crosby could intensify.
