The Detroit Lions found themselves trailing 10-0 after a rough first quarter in the Week 7 NFC North matchup in Minnesota.

Their first three drives yielded no first downs, and a combination of subpar special teams play and an ineffective defense contributed to a disappointing start for Dan Campbell’s team.

However, everything changed in an instant as Campbell’s squad turned the game around. Detroit dominated the second quarter, taking a 21-10 lead into halftime and excelling in every aspect of the matchup.

When the Lions returned to the field after halftime, the FOX broadcast team inquired about their turnaround.

Detroit Lions’s Dan Campbell Posted his halftime message after team’s remarkable performance in the second quarter against the Vikings.

“To go through what we went through, down 10-0 in this game,” Campbell told Pam Oliver. “We emphasized the importance of staying composed, effective communication, and playing with a little edge. We managed to do all three.”

Campbell succinctly concluded,

“Be patient on offense, and our defense is playing exceptionally well right now.”
