NFL talk has been dominated by mock trade offers for the Detroit Lions to acquire an edge rusher. However, former league executive Mike Tannenbaum’s proposal could be the most dubious of all the ones put up by experts.
Tannenbaum, a longtime executive with the New York Jets and former executive vice president of football operations for the Miami Dolphins, made a wild trade proposal on ESPN’s Get Up Friday morning that made analyst Bart Scott raise his eyebrows and made Ryan Clark jump out of his seat.
