Following his two-game suspension for PEDs, the Detroit Lions’ wide receiver Jameson Williams is set to return in Week 10, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Williams was penalized for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances policy, as reported by ESPN’s Eric Woodyard. After the suspension, the 23-year-old wideout shared his thoughts.

“I was caught off guard by the news and am still processing it,” Williams said. “Out of respect for my teammates, this will be the only time I address it.”

Head coach Dan Campbell is eager to see Williams back in action.

“We’re going to put him out there and get him going. I expect him to be ready to go!”

Lions Surge Amid Winning Streak

With a 7-1 record, the Lions would hold the top playoff seed if the NFL season ended today. Detroit leads the league with 32.3 points scored per game and allows 18.5 points per game, ranking fifth. Their +110 point differential is also the highest in the league.

According to PFF grades, Detroit has one of the league’s best rosters, with seven offensive players ranked 17th or higher, including five in the top 10. They also have five top 10 defenders, with three ranked first or second, although Aidan Hutchinson is out for the season.

After a big win over the Packers in Week 9, Campbell was fired up in the locker room.

“We knew it didn’t matter where we played or the conditions,” Campbell said. “We didn’t need ‘validation’ for playing in the weather. That’s just who we are… Great job, two division wins. I couldn’t be prouder.”

Even quarterback Jared Goff added a bit of trash talk when speaking with Erin Andrews.

“The second half was definitely wetter, but it was fun,” Goff said. “Games like this, in Lambeau, they’re rare. We’re supposed to be the dome team that can’t handle outdoor games, but we came in here and won.”

The Lions will meet the AFC’s top team in Week 10 when they head to Houston to face the Texans on November 10 for Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. EST.
