“Turnovers are a huge part of the game, and unfortunately, we had a few too many of those tonight,” Stroud said in the post-game press conference. “That’s on me, and it’s on us as an offense. We know we can play better than we did, and it starts with making sure we’re taking care of the ball.”

“Detroit has a great defense, and they did a good job reading what we were trying to do,” he said. “But that’s part of the game. Every week, we see something new, and it’s on us to adapt and learn. I know I’ll take a lot away from this game and be better because of it.”
Stroud also acknowledged the support from his teammates and coaching staff, noting that the Texans are committed to improving as a unit. He expressed confidence that they would use this loss as a learning experience to strengthen their offense.
“We’re all learning together, and we’re all in this together,” he said. “Coach Ryans and the staff have been great in helping me grow, and I know that we’re just getting started. We’ll clean things up and get back to work. It’s a process, but I believe in this team, and I believe in myself.”
