After the Detroit Lions’ hard-fought comeback win over the Houston Texans, head coach Dan Campbell awarded three game balls.

One went to defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn for his outstanding game plan, another to Carlton Davis III for his two interceptions and stellar performance, and the last to kicker Jake Bates for his game-winning field goal.

In a game filled with errors and struggles on one side of the ball, these players stepped up to save the day. However, there were other players who may not have received much attention but equally deserve credit.

Today’s Question of the Day is…

Who is your unsung hero from the Lions’ win over the Texans?

My answer: On defense, it was mainly the Carlton Davis III and Brian Branch show for much of the game, but one player who deserves extra recognition is Josh Paschal.

Paschal was a huge asset in the run defense, achieving three stops on running plays with an average tackle depth of just 0.3 yards. This game marked a strong comeback for the run defense after recent issues, and Paschal was crucial in this improvement.

In the passing game, Paschal was equally effective. He led the team with five QB pressures and recorded a sack. Impressive work from Paschal and the entire defense.

Now, it’s your turn. Who are your unsung heroes from the Lions’ “Sunday Night Football” victory? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
