A couple shared their Detroit Lions-themed vows at their wedding last month, and the video is unforgettable.
For many, being a Detroit Lions fan is more than just a pastime—it’s a lifestyle. The NFL has mastered making football a year-round experience, even though the season itself lasts only five months. Lions fans, especially at away games, show unmatched dedication to their team.
Bride-to-be Leah Crockett captured this passion in her vows, promising her future husband, Zach Landis, that she’d fully accept his Lions devotion as part of their marriage.
“I promise to support and cherish your deep, deep, deep—some may even call it an obsession—love for the Detroit Lions for the rest of our lives,” Leah says. “This includes encouraging you to take annual trips with the boys to Lions games and listening to your year-round Lions podcast on our 11-hour drive to New York to see my family. I promise to stand by you in the good times and the bad, AKA any Lions losses that occur on Sundays, Mondays, or Thursdays throughout the season.”
