Seen on the sidelines during the Lions’ dramatic win over the Packers. Christen Harper, a key figure in quarterback Jared Goff’s life since their 2019 meeting on the dating app Raya, has remained a steadfast supporter throughout their journey together.
A Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, Harper frequently cheers for Goff and the Detroit Lions, celebrating their successes and enduring their challenges.
On Thursday, Harper was spotted at field level during the Lions’ nail-biting 34-31 triumph over the Green Bay Packers.
The victory, sealed by kicker Jake Bates’ last-second field goal, earned the Lions the NFC’s first playoff berth of the season.
Married in June during a California ceremony, Harper and Goff manage demanding careers but have hinted at starting a family in the future.
In a September episode of “The Morning After” podcast, hosted by Kelly Stafford, wife of NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford, Harper discussed her career and aspirations.
“One day, I’ll have kids running around and may not have time for this. I might need to find other ways to support. But I don’t want anyone to feel bad—I have the time now.”
Adapting to Detroit Life
Since relocating to Detroit, Harper has embraced the city’s culture and devoted fan base.
“When we first arrived, we were stunned by the near-capacity crowds, even when the team wasn’t performing well,” she shared.
“That level of support is incredible. Not many places have fans who show up on Sundays knowing the team might lose.”
Additionally, Harper expressed her appreciation for Michigan’s fall season, saying, “I never truly understood fall until I moved here. I love watching the leaves change and visiting apple orchards.”
