Speculation surrounding Matthew Stafford’s future with the Rams has been circulating for days, but Kelly Stafford’s social media comments about a possible trade involving star receiver Cooper Kupp have reignited debate.
During an appearance on the “Come And Talk 2 Me” podcast, Cam’ron expressed his frustration, accusing her of making her husband’s contract situation more complicated than necessary.
“Nobody was even talking about this until she jumped on Twitter, acting like Cooper Kupp was her man,” Cam’ron said. “Meanwhile, her husband is the one in contract negotiations, and now it’s a big deal.”
Cam’ron’s criticism stems from Kelly Stafford’s public support for Kupp, particularly her questioning of why the Rams would consider trading him. While Kupp plays a crucial role in the team’s offense, and her emotional response is understandable, some wonder if she has overstepped by being so outspoken.
This isn’t the first time Kelly Stafford has been at the center of controversy. She previously faced backlash after revealing she once dated one of Matthew Stafford’s college teammates to make him jealous. “I’m pretty sure Cooper Kupp has someone in his life who can stand up for him,” Cam’ron added. “I get that your husband needs good receivers, but come on.”
Kelly Stafford has been open about her views, even discussing the Rams’ situation on her own podcast, “The Morning After.” She argued that since the team came close to reaching the NFC Championship, trading Kupp wouldn’t make sense.
