Longtime NFL guard Kevin Zeitler has officially signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans. The experienced lineman, who was originally selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, spent the 2024 season with the Detroit Lions.

Titans Add Experienced Offensive Lineman

Zeitler, a 13-year veteran and former Pro Bowler, brings a wealth of experience to Tennessee. Before his stint with Detroit, he played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens. In 2024, he signed a one-year deal with the Lions and became a key component of one of the league’s top offensive lines. Appearing in 16 games, he earned an impressive 86.8 PFF grade, ranking third among all guards. Detroit finished the regular season with a 15-2 record, though their playoff run was short-lived after an upset loss to the Washington Commanders.

Kevin Zeitler’s NFL Journey

Zeitler began his professional career with the Bengals, spending five seasons as their starting right guard. Although Cincinnati enjoyed regular-season success during that period, they were unable to secure a playoff victory.

After his rookie contract expired, Zeitler inked a five-year deal with the Cleveland Browns. However, his tenure in Cleveland lasted only two seasons before he was included in the Odell Beckham Jr. trade, which sent him to the New York Giants. During his three years in New York, he provided protection for quarterbacks Eli Manning and Daniel Jones.

Following his time with the Giants, Zeitler signed a three-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, where he continued to be one of the league’s most reliable guards. Despite his consistent play, he didn’t earn a Pro Bowl selection until the 2023 season. That year, he started 15 games and helped Baltimore secure the AFC’s best record. The Ravens advanced past the divisional round but fell short against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Now, Zeitler looks to make an impact with the Tennessee Titans as he enters the next chapter of his career.
