Andrew Carr, a former Kentucky Wildcats forward, has secured an opportunity with the Portland Trail Blazers by signing an Exhibit 10 contract. After going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, Carr wasted no time finding his next basketball home. The deal offers Carr a chance to participate in the Trail Blazers’ training camp, with the possibility of earning a spot on their regular-season roster or G-League affiliate.

Carr, who stands 6-foot-10 and weighs around 222 pounds, played one season at Kentucky after previous stops at Delaware and Wake Forest. During his lone year in Lexington, he became a key rotation player for coach Mark Pope. Carr averaged 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from three-point range. His ability to stretch the floor as a big man, coupled with his defensive versatility, caught the attention of NBA scouts.

The Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed deal commonly used for players on the fringe of NBA rosters. It allows Carr to attend training camp with Portland and possibly earn a two-way contract later. If Carr doesn’t make the Trail Blazers’ final roster and ends up with their G-League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, he would become eligible for a financial bonus—potentially up to $75,000—if he stays with the G-League team for at least 60 days.

Carr will also have the opportunity to showcase his skills during the NBA Summer League, where he is expected to suit up for Portland. There, he’ll compete alongside other young prospects, including the Trail Blazers’ recent draft picks and undrafted free agents. His size, basketball IQ, and shooting touch could help him stand out among players fighting for NBA and G-League spots.

For Carr, this signing marks the next chapter in a career that’s been all about gradual improvement. From his early college years at Delaware to his ACC and SEC experience at Wake Forest and Kentucky, Carr has continually evolved his game. Now, he has a shot at making his professional dream a reality. Whether it’s with the Trail Blazers or through the G-League development system, Carr’s journey to the NBA is officially underway.
