Detroit Lions fans are fired up after sports commentator Rob Parker declared that the team’s Super Bowl window is officially shut. On a recent episode of The Odd Couple podcast, Parker claimed that the losses of offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn marked the beginning of the end for Detroit’s championship hopes.

Despite the Lions’ NFC Championship appearance in the 2023 season and a strong 12–1 regular season record at one point, Parker dismissed the team’s success as unsustainable. He specifically targeted head coach Dan Campbell, calling him reckless and blaming his aggressive fourth-down decisions for the team’s collapse in their playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The Lions blew a 24–7 halftime lead and were eliminated, fueling Parker’s claim that Campbell “choked” and should be fired.
