Florida State supporters most likely want life might return to the simpler days of legendary coaches Bobby Bowden and Jimbo Fisher winning national titles. Unfortunately, the Seminoles have suffered six losing seasons in the last eight years, making it difficult for anyone to even wear the Garnet and Gold.
The program has become a joke to analysts across the college football world, and to make matters worse, head coach Mike Norvell is firmly on the hot-seat list this offseason.
The program’s morale is poor since Florida State supporters continue to hear people say that it is moving in the right direction, yet losses continue to occur. With that in mind, the Seminoles must make immediate adjustments to generate excitement among potential recruits.
Former Florida State running backs James Wilder Jr. and Karlos Williams will visit the campus with a recruit.
Florida State football has to improve its high school recruiting. The sad fact is that the Seminoles are not keeping up in this regard. The program must be more creative in attracting personnel to Tallahassee.
It was great that Florida State held its Legacy Weekend last weekend, which included past players like Jared Verse, Jordan Travis, and Trey Benson. However, the Seminoles will need more opportunities like these to capitalize.

Williams Jr. lacks a recruiting profile or a Hudl, but it is heartening that the two former Seminoles will be visiting Tallahassee. Both have championship DNA and understand what it takes to be successful, having been members of the 2013 national championship team.
This could be an excellent weekend for prospects to absorb knowledge from two players who are currently coaching other children.
