During Super Bowl coverage, former NFL quarterback turned reporter, Jameis Winston, had a humorous moment when he interviewed ex-Razorback Dan Skipper, now a Detroit Lions lineman. While in New Orleans near the Audubon Aquarium, Winston was captivated by a nearby Super Yacht docked along the Mississippi River. Eager to board, he asked everyone around if they had access to the boat. It was then that he crossed paths with Skipper.

As Winston strolled along the Moon Walk, he approached Skipper and said, “I don’t talk about a lot of people, but this is somebody’s left tackle.” After meeting him, Winston jokingly asked, “You are somebody’s left tackle, aren’t you?” Skipper responded with a humble smile, revealing he played for the Detroit Lions. Winston, seemingly confused, asked, “Are you Nate Soldier?” – a retired player. Once Skipper clarified his identity, Winston was excited to discover he indeed was “somebody’s left tackle,” especially considering Skipper’s imposing 6-foot-10-inch frame and 320-pound stature.
