Jameson Williams finally delivered on his promise in 2024. After two quiet seasons with Detroit, where he totaled only 25 catches for 395 yards and three scores, the third-year wideout erupted for 1,001 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. His big-play ability started to shine through, giving the Lions hope that he could become a long-term weapon in their offense.

However, not everyone sees Williams staying in Detroit forever. Mike Payton of AtoZ Sports speculates that the Lions could consider dealing him, especially if they invest an early pick in a wide receiver in the 2025 draft. While it’s likely Detroit will pick up his fifth-year option, there’s still a scenario where he becomes a trade chip.
