Kyle Dugger has completed his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dugger, who was traded to the New England Patriots in 2025, will play for a third different club in two seasons after joining the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Dugger, 30, had 42 total tackles, five pass deflections, and two interceptions during his time in New England and Pittsburgh, the latter of which required the team to give up a late-round draught choice in order to get his services. DeShon, a starting strong safety, injured his knee early in the season and was forced to miss the rest of the season. Elliott was placed on injured reserve in October, ending his season.
The Steelers parted ways with the veteran after just one season, during which he played nearly every defensive snap in his first eight games with the club before seeing those stats plummet in the regular season finale and playoffs, with fellow veteran Chuck Clark earning greater playing time in those matchups against the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
The Bengals will appreciate the support since they just lost safety Geno Stone to the Buffalo Bills.
