The following are the Key Players to keep an eye on during the 2024–2025 NASCAR Silly Season:

Michael McDowell: In 2025, he will sign a multiyear contract to join Spire Motorsports full-time in the No. 71 car.

Martin Truex Jr.: Declared after the conclusion of the 2024 season that he would be retiring from competitive racing.

Chase Briscoe: Bass Pro Shops will remain a prominent sponsor of the No. 19 Toyota when it rejoins Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025.

Josh Berry: Josh Berry will be driving the No. 21 car at Wood Brothers Racing in lieu of Harrison Burton.

Hailie Deegan: Leaving AM Racing; no announcement has been made regarding her No. 15 Ford successor.

Cole Custer: Joining the reorganized Haas Factory Team in collaboration with Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, Custer will be making a comeback to the Cup Series, driving the No. 41 Ford.

Erik Jones: Will drive the No. 43 vehicle for the Maury Gallagher and Jimmie Johnson-owned team through the 2025 season and beyond.

AJ Allmendinger: After winning two of his past three Cup races, he is returning to a full-time Cup Series career with Kaulig Racing.

Trackhouse Racing: Verified that Daniel Suárez will continue to drive the No. 99 Chevrolet for a portion of the season, with Freeway Insurance serving as the major sponsor.

The Xfinity Series team of Dale Earnhardt Jr. has signed a bright young driver for 2025 who is anticipated to be a serious competitor.
