A tragic conclusion was shown for the bull rider who was thrown from the bull and stomped on the ground.

In the city of Fátima do Sul in central-western Brazil, a bull rider lost his life after being run over by a bull during a rodeo performance.

Startling video footage captures Fabiano Pinheiro competing at the Fátima Fest on Monday night and riding the bull, named “Safra Nova,” for around 13 seconds until he was knocked off.

The bull’s two hind legs kicked the 36-year-old in the neck as he fell to the ground, but he was able to stand up on his own.

A trio of bull riders endeavor to repel “Safra Nova” while Pinheiro ascends the gate. Shortly after, the bull inside itself and the second gate opened.

Pinheiro passed away before getting to the hospital despite receiving treatment there. “He was struck by the bull and was able to move around, but shortly after, he fell ill, was rescued, and passed away en route to the hospital,” Chief of Civil Police for Mato Grosso do Sul Cristiano Hein told Brazilian news outlet G1.

Pinheiro, who was from Junqueirópolis in São Paulo’s southeast, had traveled to compete at the Fátima Fest. He frequently posted pictures of himself competing in bull riding competitions and working with animals on a farm.

Sampati posted on Facebook, “We sincerely regret Fabiano Pinheiro Rocha’s passing and offer our condolences and support to his family and friends.”

“This is not an easy time for any of us.” We are praying for everyone affected by this tragedy at Fátima Fest. Referencing Brazilian national Marcelo Delvaux, who fell into the crater of Nevado Coropuna, the fourth highest peak in Peru, and was found dead on Sunday, a woman wrote on social media, “He died doing what he loved, just like that guy who went to climb the highest mountain and ended up having an accident and died.”

‘Everyone takes responsibility for their actions, there is no one to blame,’ she added.

Pinheiro was laid to rest Wednesday morning.
