At a bull riding event, three people were injured when a bull jumped over the barrier and into the crowd, forcing spectators to leave their seats.

The incident happened on Saturday night at the 94th Sisters Rodeo in Sisters, Oregon, just before ten o’clock at night.

The bull is shown rushing around the ring and staring at the audience while they sing God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood in a video that spectators captured.

But right before the last bull ride was scheduled to happen, the bull chose a location among the throng and leaped the fence, sending onlookers running for their lives.

Additional footage from the event reveals that the bull walked across the concession area, knocked over a garbage can, and even lifted a person off the ground with its horns before knocking them off.

As per The Sisters Rodeo Association, three individuals sustained injuries, with two of them being sent to a neighboring hospital.

“Had it been 25 minutes earlier, people were lined up getting their popcorn, drinks, beers, getting ready to watch the bulls.”

Olsen was at the concession area’s first-aid station when the tragedy happened, and his initial impression was that someone had done a terrific ride.

A terrifying video displays the moment Austin Brockman gets gravely hurt in a Denver Rodeo mishap after a horse stamps on him.

“We detect screams. He remarked, “I’m thinking, ‘Oh, someone did a really good ride!'” “I look up – and people are running up the grandstands, and I’m thinking, ‘What the hell?'”

According to Olsen, when he ascended the back of the grandstand to have a better look at the action, all he could hear was the announcer alerting everyone to the presence of a loose bull.

“I yell down to my guys, ‘Get out of the way!’ – and not five seconds later, the bull flies by,” he explained.

Party Bus the bull was just “going back to where the rest of his buddies were,” according to the Fire Chief, who also explained that the bull was only loose for around 30 seconds.

The bull had previously been reluctant when it came time for a ride, lying down in the chute. “He ran out the gate for the beer garden, back to where the stock was,” Olsen recalled.

Screams reach our ears. I’m thinking, “Whoa, that was a really nice ride!”

“He wasn’t malicious, targeting people,” Olsen said.

“He was on a dead run to get the heck out of there and back to the pen with all his friends.”

The pickup guys immediately calmed the animal down and strapped it to the side of the holding cages.

The Sisters Rodeo Association claims that after that, the animal was restrained by rodeo officials and placed in a pen.

“We want the greatest impact for everyone. Maintaining the safety of our fans is our first priority, and we appreciate their support,” the statement said.

In response to the event, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association stated, “While rodeo is a highly-entertaining sport, on very rare occasions it can also pose some risk.”

“PRCA sends our thoughts and well wishes to those who were injured or otherwise impacted by this frightening and very rare incident.”

The final event on Sunday went ahead as planned.

Chief of the Cloverdale Rural Fire District Thad Olsen stated that when he and his group “heard screams,” they initially assumed that someone had done a fantastic ride.
