The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of contract negotiations with CeeDee Lamb, an All-Pro receiver who is approaching the final year of his rookie deal.
The Cowboys obviously don’t want Lamb to become a free agent at the end of the season; they are currently working through the exact same situation with Dak Prescott, but things are moving forward. Now, we know how much the Cowboys are offering Lamb.
Dallas Cowboys offered CeeDee Lamb just under $33 million per year
The Cowboys are reportedly offering WR CeeDee Lamb just under $33M per season, per Calvin Watkins (Dallas Morning News). If accepted, Lamb would become the NFL's 2nd-highest-paid WR, behind Justin Jefferson ($35M) and just ahead of A.J. Brown ($32M). Talks continue. #NFL #Cowboys pic.twitter.com/qbC2c4rCrb

The NFL’s highest-paid wide receiver is Justin Jefferson, who recently signed a contract worth an average of $35 million per season. CeeDee Lamb could be in line to become the NFL’s second-highest-paid receiver.
According to Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys spoke with Lamb’s agent on Thursday. During that phone call, the Cowboys presented Lamb with a contract offer worth “slightly under” $33 million per season.
It is not yet known just how much money Lamb is asking for, but reports indicate he’s not looking to surpass Jefferson as the NFL’s highest-paid non-QB.
Lamb, 25, is coming off the best season of his career and would become the second-highest receiver in the NFL with a nearly $33 million salary. Lamb would pass Eagles three-time Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Brown, who makes $32 million a season.
