He was placed on injured reserve by the Steelers, and he missed the following six games. He played their final ten games on the football field after his return.

Heyward was ineffective and never fully recovered from the groin injury. 33 tackles, 6 TFLs, 3 hits, and 2 sacks were all recorded by him. In the Wild Card, he also recorded six tackles and one TFL. He had surgery to repair his groin injury during the off-season, and he is recovering nicely.

Cameron Heyward is doing great

“The offseason is going fairly well. After the surgeries, I’m getting my training going well,” Heyward remarked.”I’m having a terrific time working out and making sure I’m in good form.

Being able to do what I’m used to doing is enjoyable. It was always like, “Hey man, let’s see if we can get some get-offs because it’s a little rough right now,” throughout the season.

Now let’s play the game. However, I’m in good shape and exercising with Tyson Alualu like I have for the past five or six years. Heyward might regain his elite form now that he is feeling better. Their defensive coordinator is optimistic that he can become his former self.

“It’s hard to tell right now, but I’m anticipating him getting back to the Cam Heyward that we know.”He moves well, has strength, and is large. He is moving so much more fluidly than he did a year ago, as you can see. We’re probably going to get the same Cam that we’re used to seeing.

Will Heyward make it to his 7th Pro Bowl in 2024 and return to his elite form?
