In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected the 27-year-old with the 62nd overall choice. He played his whole college career at UMass, where he finished his senior year as a consensus All-American and a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, amassing 3,526 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns.
Isabella spent portions of four seasons with the Cardinals, returning eight punts for 166 yards in 39 games and recording 447 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
After going unclaimed, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad after the team cut him in October 2022. Isabella signed a reserve/future contract and played in two games with Baltimore before being cut loose in July 2023 and then selected by the Buffalo Bills.
Despite sticking around over the offseason and being removed during the final roster cuts in August, he appeared in two games for Buffalo last season. Before returning to the NFL with the Steelers, Isabella later joined the United Football League’s St. Louis Battlehawks in October.
