Texas A&M’s 2026 roster is overflowing with NFL-caliber talent, and Mario Craver, a former Mississippi State wide receiver who had 59 receptions for 917 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 15. 5 yards per catch in his first year in College Station, tops that list following his breakout 2025 season. Craver is expected to have a greater influence this fall after re-signing with the program before the offseason.
Craver has tremendous track speed, excellent footwork, and the ability to exit his breaks quicker than most, allowing him to sprint upfield. Despite his 5’9 stature, he has been able to consistently outrun coverage on deep routes. Marcel Reed, the starting quarterback, benefits from the offseason acquisition of former Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton, who adds dimension to Craver’s ability to play in the slot or at the Z and make plays after the catch.
In today’s turbulent NIL environment, most people believe that players should be able to sign agreements with several firms to earn money during the season, and earlier this week, it was announced that Mario Craver, along with USC RB Waymond Jordan and Texas LB Rasheem Biles, had signed NIL deals with Panini America, which is known for its unique trading card collections.
All three players are expected to lead their respective teams in numerous categories next season, but Mario Cravers’ Texas A&M career is expected to end after the 2026 season as he pursues his NFL goal.
