AFans were more interested in the jacked referee that went viral and the ongoing drama surrounding CeeDee Lamb’s contract negotiations than in the game itself, which saw the Rams defeat Trevor Lance 13–12.
On Monday, perhaps the most shocking story to come out of the game was that fans of both teams got into multiple fights outside the stadium in Los Angeles.
Several recordings of fan violence outside the stadium were shared on Instagram by the Cowboys fan account Vaqueros Gang.
The videos evoked unpleasant commentary such as “Some people should not drink as much as they do” and “Chill guys…it’s only pre season.”
The worst injury was inflicted upon a Rams supporter wearing an Aaron Donald jersey, who was attacked by a Dallas fan while lying on the ground and rose up, flashing a bleeding face.
Two long videos featuring the two rival fans and the series of fights that followed their altercation were shared by the account.
