During a tense last practice during Oxnard’s training camp, standout tight end Jake Ferguson and safety Donovan Wilson got into a brawl.
At the Dallas Cowboys’ final padded practice of training camp on Wednesday in Oxnard, tensions ran high. The Athletic’s Jon Machota claims that standout tight end Jake Ferguson’s roughness caused some people to lose their cool. Safety Donovan Wilson was the defender in question.
Machota noted the players were “separated quickly.”
As the squad prepares for the season finale, it’s encouraging to witness the level of energy throughout their final practice.
Cowboys had a heated end to today’s practice. No video allowed, but at one point Jake Ferguson threw a stiff-arm that Donovan Wilson didn’t appreciate. Wilson took a swing at Ferguson. Things were quickly broken up by teammates pic.twitter.com/nThr1dcGaP
