The Detroit Lions secured a Week 1 win against the Los Angeles Rams, thanks largely to the impressive performance of speedy receiver Jameson Williams.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face a tough challenge in Week 2 against the former Alabama receiver, and Lions quarterback Jared Goff believes this is “just the beginning” for Williams.

“It was fun, it really was, and it was on plays we’ve practiced a lot,” Goff said recently. “That in-cut he ran came out perfectly. We’ve worked on that for years, and seeing it in the game was great. I’m happy for him, and this is just the start.”

Williams missed time in his first two seasons due to a knee injury and a suspension for gambling. Now, he’s ready to make an impact on the field.

He finished Week 1 with 121 receiving yards and a touchdown on just five catches. His speed is his greatest strength, and the Buccaneers will be tasked with containing him on Sunday.
