The Diamond League General Assembly declared that $9,240,000 will be awarded in total prize money for the 2025 season. This sum represents the greatest amount since the league’s founding in 2010 and is almost 33% more than the total granted during the epidemic years of 2021–2024.

Approximately $18 million, including promotional fees, will go into athletes for the 2025 season. An extra millions will go for athlete services like lodging, transportation, and medical attention. About $270 million has been invested on athletes by the series since its launch in 2010, comprising roughly $90 million in athlete services and $180 million in prize money and advertising costs. The series wants to continue providing competitors in all disciplines with excellent conditions and services as it gets closer to its 16th season in 2025.
