The Dallas Cowboys endured their fifth consecutive home loss on Sunday, falling 34-10 to the Houston Texans. This came just a week after a 34-6 blowout by the Philadelphia Eagles.
The team is in the midst of a historically poor stretch, trailing by 20 or more points at home in a record six straight games. Frustrated fans have given up hope on the playoffs as the Cowboys sit at a dismal 3-7 for the season.
When wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and cornerback Trevon Diggs were seen at a nightclub shortly after the defeat, many Cowboys fans were outraged.
“This Is Why You’re Losing” – Fans Criticize Lamb and Diggs
Though the Cowboys are struggling with injuries to key players, including quarterback Dak Prescott, who is out for the season, their problems go beyond health concerns. Lamb and Diggs remain among the team’s top performers but were still subject to backlash.
Videos of Lamb and Diggs partying at the club, dancing in front of professional cameras with loud music in the background, drew sharp criticism. One fan wrote, “This is why y’all suck,” while another commented, “The Dallas Cowboys are not a serious football organization.”
However, others defended the players. One fan quipped, “Losers are allowed to have fun too,” which lightened the mood. Another added, “Good for them. They can only control what they can control. Having a terrible owner shouldn’t bring them down lol.”
The criticism also turned toward owner Jerry Jones, with some wondering how fans would react if he were the one seen partying while the team flounders.
