The Washington Commanders are preparing for the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles, riding the impressive performance of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Boasting a 14-5 record, the Commanders have secured two playoff wins, defeating the Detroit Lions 45-31 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20.

Ahead of their clash with the Eagles, the Commanders made a major announcement about Daniels. He has been awarded the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) Rookie of the Year, highlighting his historic season in Washington.

The PFWA recently revealed its official awards list, naming Daniels the top offensive rookie, while Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Jared Verse claimed Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
