The West Virginia football team welcomed their eighteenth recruit from the class of 2025 on Sunday night.
Chris Fileppo, a three-star defensive back, officially declared his desire to play for the Mountaineers. Fileppo is a rising student at Pennsylvania’s LaSalle College High School.
Offers to play for Fileppo (6’3″) came from a number of schools, including Villanova, Purdue, James Madison, Lafayette, Monmouth, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.
On May 21, Fileppo received an offer from West Virginia, where ShaDon Brown, the defensive backs coach, was the main recruiter and co-defensive coordinator.
Fileppo had already committed to JMU when WVU made him an offer. Right now, West Virginia’s 2025 class is rated 23rd in the nation.
The greatest class for West Virginia under Neal Brown’s leadership is the class of 2025. In the new Big 12, WVU’s class is ranked fourth; the only schools better are TCU, Arizona State, and Oklahoma State.
The Kentucky three-star athlete Montavin Quisenberry was most recently signed by the Mountaineers. At Boyle County High School in Danville, Kentucky, Quisenberry plays both wide receiver and defensive back.
He is regarded as a three-star recruit by a number of national scouts. Being a brilliant point guard for his high school basketball team, he is regarded as one of Kentucky’s top athletes.
