Romeo Lavia and Liverpool have reached an agreement on a five-year contract, and the only thing left is for the Merseysiders and Southampton to agree on a purchase price.
Although the Reds have already had many offers rejected, famous journalist Sacha Tavolieri predicts that the Saints will receive a third, “ultimate” offer.
The Belgian reporter said the following in an exclusive interview with UB:
“These days will be critical for Roméo Lavia’s move to Liverpool. I have been in agreement with this for a while. Lavia is awaiting approval before joining the Reds for their medical examinations. Liverpool will attempt to sign Lavia from Southampton one final time.
“They intend to woo the Saints with bonuses and 40 million euros for the young Belgian. At Anfield, Lavia is bound by a 5-year deal.
He made 29 appear
ances for St. Mary’s in the Premier League last year but only managed one goal.
However, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have already been courted by Liverpool, so they do not need him for the attacking third.
