Keep on top of all the day’s Man United transfer rumours, takeover latest and break news in our live blog.

Manchester United beat Lens this afternoon in their only friendly at Old Trafford this summer however this was not the biggest news from today.

Prior to kick-off, 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund was unveiled to the supporters. The £72m arrival soaked in the applauds from his new fans after receiving a rapturous reception.

The striker is unlikely to feature against Athletic Bilbao in Dublin tomorrow after MEN Sport confirmed the forward had picked up an injury during Atalanta’s pre-season. Hojlund’s injury did not dampen proceedings though as the Reds ran out 3-1 winners at the Theatre of Dreams.

United’s window looks far from done, though. Sofyan Amrabat is of interest to United, who could make a move should funds allow. The club need to offload players in order for this to happen. West Ham saw a £20m bid rejected for Harry Maguire but the Reds are still open to favourable offers. Meanwhile, reports suggest Burnley are chasing left-back Alvaro Fernandez.

The transfer window is in full swing and United have got their hands on three players well in advance of the September 1 deadline, with Rasmus Hojlund joining Mason Mount and Andre Onana at Old Trafford.

Christian Eriksen gives verdict on United target Rasmus Hojlund

A goalkeeper, a midfielder and a striker were Erik ten Hag’s priorities heading into the summer window, but that doesn’t mean their business ends here, with a move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat also on the cards, as well as plenty of possible departures.

United players welcome their new teammate

United trio Williams, Garnacho and Eriksen have welcomed their new teammate Hojlund to Old Trafford.

The Danish striker was unveiled to the home fans today before the 3-1 victory over Lens.

According to Football Insider, neither Maguire nor McTominay will be forced out of Old Trafford this summer.

Rumours are currently circulating about the United pair joining West Ham.

While the Reds are open to sensible offers, the report claims they will not just accept a bid to try and fund future arrivals.
