One of Liverpool’s emerging talents may have a role to play in the first team, thus the club is expected to turn down any loan offer they get for him.

The Reds are already preparing for the next Premier League season after finishing their preseason tour.

Jurgen Klopp will be eager to add more players to his team before the game begins, especially in the midfield where they still appear to be lacking.

Romeo Lavia is still being discussed during their ongoing negotiations with Southampton, although they have not yet struck an agreement.

In the last days of the transfer window, Liverpool may also sell certain players. For instance, Nat Phillips might be moving to Leeds United in a £10 million transaction.

Although Liverpool may yet sell a couple of their team members, the promising teenager Ben Doak is expected to stay for the upcoming season.

The young player, who was acquired from Celtic for £600,000 last summer, excelled during preseason and is expected to have a big season.

Journalist Neil Jones predicts that Liverpool will reject any loan offers made for the 17-year-old winger.

Jones said, “I’d be amazed if Ben Doak wasn’t kept around the first-team squad this season. He’s been one of the real breakout stars of pre-season.”

“I’m sure there are a ton of clubs who would love to take him on loan – in fact, I know there are! – but his ability to have an impact on games coming off the bench, particularly in the final 10-15 minutes against worn-out defenses, means that he can be a real asset for Klopp,” said the manager.

“Yes, Liverpool is now well-stocked in the attacking areas, but we saw last season how quickly those numbers can decrease as injuries set in, so having someone like Doak, who is brave, quick, and dangerous, in reserve would be more than helpful. He should stay, in my opinion.

Doak’s future is bright.

Doak earned five senior appearances for Liverpool last season, and he seized the opportunity to shine this summer during preseason.

The young player scored against Leicester in preseason, and Liverpool supporters can’t help but be enthused about him.

Doak reiterated his ambition to play as many games for Liverpool after scoring against the Foxes.

Doak told reporters, “It’s a fantastic feeling, it’s also my first one (goal). “Scoring in front of the entire crowd feels great. I obviously just try to do my best while getting better.

“Compared to this time last year, it feels like night and day, but I still have a long way to go. Just trying to get back to being a better player. I naturally want to participate in as many games as I can.

“The more you participate in the game, the more probable it is that you will continue to do so. Just trying to establish myself professionally, hopefully at the
