Liverpool has already begun the process of bringing in further new midfielders.

To fill the void left by the free agents leaving at the end of June, the Reds swiftly finalized contracts with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

After that, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho left Anfield, forcing Liverpool to restart their search.

Although Wataru Endo has entered Anfield, it is likely that Liverpool will want to add other players.

Recently, Tim Vickery discussed potential South American midfielders who would work well for Liverpool with Sky Sports.

Pablo Maia, who plays for Brazilian powerhouse Sao Paulo, has been suggested as a strong candidate for Jurgen Klopp.

This is due to the fact that, in Vickery’s opinion, his playing style is similar to Fabinho’s.

Sao Paulo “knows they are going to lose” Maia sooner rather than later because he has been “really flourishing of late.”

If Liverpool are unable to get Andre, Pablo Maia is a player who has been thriving recently, according to Vickery.

“In the way he organizes play by sitting in front of the defense and sprinkling the ball around, you can see some Fabinho in him.

Although there haven’t been any rumors directly connecting Maya to Liverpool, other Premier League teams have reportedly been keeping an eye on him.

Newcastle, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and Atletico Madrid were reportedly interested in Maya in June, according to Sao Paulo Sempre.

He was referred to as a “great” talent and a “mini-Casemiro” by Football Talent Scout in March of last year when they selected him as one of their Talents of the Day.

Pablo Maia is supported by Liverpool

“Sao Paulo is aware that they will lose him sooner rather than later. He may be the person Jurgen Klopp is looking for.

As testament to Maya’s talent, he’s about to make his 100th competitive appearance for Sao Paulo, at just 21.

And in terms of potential price, SPS claimed that Sao Paulo value him at around €15million (£12million).

All in all, Maya seems like a decent prospect for Liverpool.
