In the face of serious interest from Liverpool, Ryan Gravenberch is ‘insisting’ that Bayern Munich sell him.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Gravenberch has frequently been linked with a move to the Reds. But nothing has been accomplished thus far since Bayern is apparently unwilling to approve a sale.

Fabrizio Romano, a journalist, asserts that it might yet alter. Romano claimed yesterday on his YouTube channel that Gravenberch is fervently pursuing a transfer to the Premier League even though the German champions are currently holding firm.

The journalist said, “Bayern is the main issue with Gravenberch. They are not interested in selling Gravenberch; they want to keep him. However, Gravenberch has insisted that some Premier League options be taken into consideration over the past two to three days.

“Like they did for [Sofyan] Amrabat, Liverpool contacted to inquire about the situation, but they never made an offer.

Let’s wait and see whether they decide to submit an official proposal to the race or not. However, nothing has yet advanced.

“Bayern is a major problem since they won’t sell the player. Keep a watch on Liverpool, but especially Manchester United, in case Bayern would approve the deal in the last days of the window.

Gravenberch is urging a change.
As things stand right now, we’d be shocked if Gravenberch ended up joining Liverpool or Man United this summer.

Since just before the end of the previous season, the player appears to have been lobbying for a transfer. Bayern, meanwhile, has so far resisted giving in.

We don’t see why they would alter their position now that the timeframe has fewer than two weeks left.

The Netherlands international’s estimated value up to this point has been around £43 million [Tuttomercatoweb]. A significant improvement there might attract the Munich side.

Liverpool, though, has been staunch in their resolve to avoid overspending this summer. For a player that didn’t have the finest of campaigns his or her last time out, that cost already seems on the high side. They might not want to climb too high, it seems.

United may be more likely to do this, although their roster is currently quite full. There does not appear to be room for Gravenberch unless they are able to move a couple on.

Therefore, as Romano argues, perhaps this is one to “keep an eye on.” There are several additional cards in play.
