Liverpool is closely monitoring the potential of acquiring , a midfielder for Wolves.

The Reds’ midfield is still a mess with less than two weeks left in the transfer window. Wataru Endo of Stuttgart is expected to sign today, but more is still required.

In light of this, there are still lots of names being discussed as potential additions. Lemina, who French publication Footmercato has identified as a target for Jurgen Klopp, is a fresh name to add to that list.

They state that the 29-year-old’s excellent performance for Wolves against Manchester United on Monday ‘did not go unnoticed.’ It is reported that three Premier League “big clubs” maintained a particularly careful eye on things.

One of them, according to reports, is Liverpool, who are ‘watching him closely.’ Although’several’ teams in Saudi Arabia are said to be interested, the other parties are not identified.

Lemina is reportedly content with Wolves, on the other hand. A late window departure, however, apparently cannot be ruled out.

Liverpool monitoring Lemina

Several players are being suggested as potential targets as Liverpool scour the market with growing zeal.

Unfortunately for Reds supporters, there aren’t many of them that can actually pique interest. The market appears to be a touch weak now that Moises Caicedo’s and Romeo Lavia’s pursuits have failed.

However, there are still a lot of players available who may help Liverpool in its current state. Even if it’s not a common belief, Lemina might fall under this heading.

The Gabon international has a ton of experience, having played for Fulham, Southampton, and now Wolves in the Premier League. In particular, his time at St. Mary’s was excellent; the school’s then-manager Ralph Hasenhuttl called his efforts “unbelievable” [HampshireLive].

Although he has never represented any truly elite English teams, he has played for Juventus in the past.

Lemina is a player who enjoys pitching in, which Liverpool could need right now. When Fabinho was criticized for a violent challenge on the Wolves player at Anfield last season, his determination to participate was on full display.

While Stephen Warnock claimed the former Liverpool player “knew what he was doing” on Sky Sports, Michael Owen described the tackle as “over the ball” and “late.” Mario, don’t worry, Fab isn’t around anymore. Head over to Kirkby! Let’s see what happens in this situation.
