In order to cover the vacuum left by Jurrien Timber’s injury, Arsenal could use a defender, and Liverpool is rumored to be interested in both another midfielder and potential defensive reinforcements.

However, it appears like Benjamin Pavard of Bayern Munich is one player who both teams won’t be signing this summer.

Plettenberg announced the news on his X account, claiming that the rumored transfer of Pavard to Inter Milan is totally false. The footballer will now remain in Germany as a result of it.

Pavard’s future in Munich obviously necessitates that Liverpool and Arsenal search elsewhere for a new defender.

The previous few weeks had indicated that Pavard might be relocating to England. The defender, who Thomas Tuchel praised for being so undervalued, seemed destined to stay put.

Pavard would rank highly among the defenders now available for sale and players who would have had little trouble adjusting to life at a major league team.

For Arsenal and Liverpool, it’s not going to be, therefore it appears they will now need to seek elsewhere.

Time is also passing. As a result, it will either be a hasty last-minute deal or one of them will pay a high price for a player they really want to sign.
