a winger for Everton, will leave the club after reaching an agreement with the Saudi Arabian team Al Shabab.

Demarai Gray will only be permitted to leave the Merseyside club if a suitable replacement is found before the end of the transfer window, according to an agreement between Everton and Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab for the winger.

All summer long, the Toffees have been trying to sign Willy Gnonto from Leeds United, but they have been unsuccessful. Following the release of a statement earlier this month to inform fans of their stance towards the player, Leeds have told the forward that he will not be sold during this transfer window.

Before Friday’s 1-1 draw with West Brom at  Gnonto withdrew from the club’s last three games and lodged a transfer request.

According to David Ornstein of the Athletic, the Toffees have apparently had a series of offers turned down by Leeds, with their most recent offer coming in at £25 million. If the Toffees opt to enhance their offer for Gnonto, they will suddenly have more financial clout.

Report from Sky Sports Due to injuries to players like Alex Iwobi, Dwight McNeil, and Jack Harrison, who arrived on a season-long loan from Leeds earlier this month, Gray can only leave Everton if a replacement is signed. Gray moved from Bayer Leverkusen to Everton in 2021 for a sum of £1.7 million, and the Goodison Park club expects to turn a tidy profit on the former Birmingham City and Leicester City winger.

After striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin collided with Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and attempted to continue but was unable to due to reoccurring injuries, the Toffees may need to further strengthen their striking alternatives.

Dom received a blow to the cheekbone and experienced impaired vision, according to manager Sean Dyche. Hopefully, it’s only a knock. He slipped as he went in to score a goal. If it’s not as serious as we fear, hopefully it will pass swiftly.

Everton has so far approached Leeds but Leeds has resisted, and now that the Toffees are in need of more attacking options, they may come back with a proposal that is too good to refuse.
