The latest Liverpool transfer news as claimed by Johan Bakayoko is provided as Ryan Gravenberch and Andre Trindade provide updates

Income, spending, missed opportunities Liverpool are bound for fate with this summer’s rapidly dwindling transfer time.

There have been many deals in the Anfield boardroom over the last three months, most notably the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, as well as the departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
Wataru Endo has also been brought in to fill a huge hole in the Reds’ midfield and it now remains to be seen whether Jürgen Klopp can locate suitable targets before the 1 September deadline.

Only then will we have a clearer picture to judge summer market activity based on what we hoped for and the reality that unfolded, but until something concrete happens, only rumors can stoke the fire.

John Bakayoko

Johan Bakayoko shone in his last trial for Liverpool,

netting two second-half assists in PSV Eindhoven’s 2-2 draw with Rangers in Champions League qualifying. The 20-year-old responded quickly to a rebound to dismiss Ibrahim Sangare for his side’s first equalizer, after which Luuk de Jong headed in a perfect left-footed corner to head in a late second equaliser.

The Belgian is considered the heir to Mohamed Salah, although not everyone believes the rumors linking him to the Reds, first published by Eindhovens Dagblad and Voetbal International.

Former Dutchman and PSV Wim Keift is under the impression the links have been leaked by Bakayoko’s agents. Via Voetbal Primeur he said: “I was also so surprised by the message that Liverpool were interested in Bakayoko.” Isn’t that crazy? I really think it’s total madness.

“I really don’t think so at all. I don’t believe all this news, only his agents bring such news to the world.

Ryan Gravenberch

“Ryan Gravenberch’s future is uncertain,” says Raphael Honigstein, “as Bayern consider selling the 21-year-old”.

Resurfaced rumors put the Dutchman at the top of Jurgen Klopp’s wishlist ahead of the deadline and now Honigstein’s latest message clarifies the opinions of those involved in the German champions.

He claims that Thomas Tuchel would approve of a move to secure funds to reinvest in a much-needed defensive midfielder and, more broadly, Gravenberch would be ready to grant his manager’s wish.

However, both his teammates and those in charge of the Bavarian club believe that the summer 2022 signing has not and should not have had a reasonable chance at the club.

Andre Trindade

Following yesterday morning’s Globo claims, sources at ESPN Brazil also believe that a €30m (£25.5m) offer made by Liverpool this summer to sign Andre Trindade has been rejected.
As in the case of this player, they write that Fluminese doesn’t want to let their star player leave before the end of the season and doesn’t want to listen to a better offer.

The Brazilian club is currently participating in the Copa Libertadores, with the next quarter-finals. The second leg will take place on the transfer deadline day.
