Liverpool player Harvey Elliott was delighted to see youngster Tyler Morton take part in first team training yesterday.

Morton made a post on social media when he was spottd partnering Jürgen Klopp’s side ahead of their upcoming match against Newcastle.

Liverpool received yet more good news after their brilliant victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Alexis Mac Allister’s rock-hard red card has been rescinded meaning he is available for Sunday’s match at St. James’ Park.

Liverpool have started the season well after a dramatic summer. There were transfer sagas that didn’t work out and a lot of goals in friendlies.

However, Jurgen Klopp is rapidly developing his best squad, although he is always on the lookout for additional reinforcements in midfield.

The two men are very close and both have taken the same path, joining Blackburn on loan.

Whether Morton has a future at Anfield this summer given the number of young midfielders Klopp already has, another loan could be the best option for the 20-year-old. Responding to his message,

Elliott said: “He’s back” and that could be a big boost for the club.
Morton missed Liverpool’s pre-season tour earlier this summer with a broken foot.

It was an injury he picked up in April towards the end of his loan deal at Blackburn.

The youngster was a key player at Ewood Park, making 40 league appearances before suffering his injury.

They narrowly missed the playoffs, which could have been due to Morton missing the final games of the season.

Elliott is happy that Morton is now fit enough to attend training and that the comeback may have happened just in time.
Just over a week from the transfer window, Morton must find a stage in his development.

After impressing in the league, a move to a lower league Premier League club shouldn’t be out of the question.
