Liverpool has strengthened their academy ranks by bringing in teenagers Trey Nyoni and Amara Nallo from Leicester and West Ham.

Following negotiations throughout the summer, Liverpool has announced the signing of 16-year-olds Nyoni and Nallo. It is thought that the club spent significant sums for both players.

After being welcomed to the AXA Training Center by their new teammates, they are now anticipated to join Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s under-18s for the upcoming season.

Harvey Owen, a new central defender for Liverpool who joined from Wolves last month in a potential £800,000 deal, had already been signed.

It occurs as Bridge-Wilkinson gets ready to work with a young team this season, even by U18s norms, with no players appearing who are older than 17 and seven players who are 16 or younger.

Due to a change in regulations following Brexit, the club has made an effort to sign high-potential players from teams all throughout the UK in recent years.

Stefan Bajcetic, who joined the Reds from Celta Vigo in a £224,000 move hours before the deadline, was the final overseas signing under the age of 18, which is now prohibited.

Since then, Liverpool has made significant investments in players like Trent Kone-Doherty, Bobby Clark, Calum Scanlon, Kaide Gordon, and Ben Doak.
