Tottenham Hotspur is looking to add attacking reinforcements this summer, and a move for Brazilian winger Pepe has been suggested.

The 26-year-old has performed admirably for Porto of Portugal, and Tottenham is allegedly interested in signing him.

According to a report from A Bola, Tottenham’s offer of roughly €60 million for the Brazilian player was rejected by the Portuguese team. Spurs reportedly made an offer of €45 million plus €15 million in add-ons for the player.

It is not surprising that Pepe has been a crucial player for Porto and that they would be willing to approve of his departure. It will be intriguing to watch whether Spurs choose to make an announcement.

The North London team could definitely need a front three with greater quality and depth. Pepe will bring goals and inventiveness to the side and is adaptable enough to play on either wing.

Last season, the 26-year-old made 5 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.

If the deal is approved, the Brazilian, who is at the height of his abilities, will seek to have an immediate impact on the Premier League.

Harry Kane’s exit from Spurs was recently approved, and a number of strikers and wingers have been mentioned in connection with the club.

In order to cover the gap left by the England international, they will need to sign several players, and Pepe would be a good addition.

Tottenham will need to find a replacement for Kane’s playmaking skills as well because he was more than simply a goal scorer. Despite not being a prolific goal scorer, Pepe will undoubtedly contribute to the creative duties.

Spurs also need to look to add a dependable finisher.
