Klopp is “enraged” when a Liverpool star gets the go-ahead for a £257 million transfer package while the Reds prepare a successor.

According to rumors, Mo Salah’s acceptance of offers from Saudi Arabia this summer has enraged Jurgen Klopp.

With Jordan Henderson and Fabinho already relocating to the Middle East this summer, the Reds have already been adversely affected by Saudi interest in their players.

They returned to the transfer market after previously signing Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai earlier in the window as a result of those exits in order to get Wataru Endo.

In particular, Salah, who was Liverpool’s leading scorer last season with 33 goals in all competitions, has to stay put and not leave before the transfer deadline.

Salah’s transfer seems exceedingly unlikely to be approved by Liverpool thus close to the transfer window, despite numerous stories suggesting otherwise.

Liverpool “initially closed the door to Salah’s transfer,” but when the Saudi team recently returned, the Reds “accepted informal discussions” due to the “large financial offer submitted.”

Salah had “wanted to finish his season” with the Premier League team, but Liverpool’s “openness to negotiations made him seriously consider the Saudi offer,” according to the report.

In order to convince Salah and Liverpool to accept the significant offer before the Saudi transfer window ends on September 7, Al-Ittihad are “racing against time.”

Some reports even go so far as to claim that Salah and Karim Benzema “will team up” at Al-Ittihad, and the Egyptian is claimed to have “enraged” Klopp by accepting the offer.

Salah, 31, has ‘opened up to the notion of a farewell’ and Al-Ittihad is prepared to pay €100 million to convince Liverpool to let him go.

Salah, 31, has ‘opened up to the notion of a farewell’ and Al-Ittihad is prepared to pay €100 million to convince Liverpool to let him go.

He “gave Al Ittihad the go-ahead to contact the English club with an official proposal,” which severely annoyed Klopp because Liverpool “must hurry to find an alternative.”

If Salah goes this summer, Klopp has selected Johan Bakayoko of PSV Eindhoven as the man they want because the 20-year-old fits the appropriate ‘type’ of player, according to Sport Mediaset., if Salah accepts Al-Ittihad’s €100 million deal, he will make €200 million over the course of three years. This implies the Saudi team might shell out up to €300 million (£257 million) for Salah’s package.
